We have the 2009 model which we are happy with. There are just a few areas where we think an improvement could be made. These are as follows: Why can't the spare wheel be located elsewhere, such as inside in floor (Avondale did) or another place outside underneath because when mover is fitted it takes its' place. Why have one drawer as false in the kitchen area, when it can be utilised as a proper drawer. We have done this ourselves. The electric switches, could they not be illuminated with signs to say which one is which. We have had some very small signs done to say what they are, shower, lounge, bedroom etc. When you design the next van, could you make the cupboards about 2 inches more deeper, it would make things so much easier. Cupboard under wardrobe would be better if you could fit a drawer say about 4 inches high. Four rings for cooking would be good. 3 gas and 1 electric. Tall cupboard left of oven would be better to have a full slide out larder. Other than this we are very happy with the cyclone and have used it many times this year, the comments we have made are intended to be constructive.

It took us six months to decide which twin axle van to buy. We looked at all the other UK manufacturers and decided to trade our 2004 Elddis Aurora for a 2009 Elddis Cyclone. We have not looked back. The luxury of the van is outstanding. We have had no major faults needing immediate attention this year and the van has more than met our expectations. Our dealer (M&M Mildenhall, Suffolk) have been very helpful and I willingly recommend them for sales and service. We are going to experiment with the memory foam matress next season as it it a little firm for me but still comfortable. We use a Range Rover Sport to tow and the outfit just eats motorway. I have had no problems with reversing into the smallest entrance or pitch, as the unit responds well. Please can Elddis consider LED lighting all round and a 60W detatchable solar panel on the roof. We tend to rally a lot and opt for non hook-up where possible at the most rural sites. Also the nice tiling in the shower would be good and extra mirrors in the bathroom so that I can see my face. I have fixed an extendable shaving mirror which I can clip back to the wall when travelling. Thanks Elddis, a great product and we will be back to upgrade next year. BTW the Buccaneer looks nice in 2010 !
