Grandstand Finish As Elddis Staff Race For Life
Staff and friends representing Elddis raised over £1,000 for charity when they took part in July's Tesco sponsored 'Race For Life' in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The team of 12½ ran the 5km course alongside two and a half thousand other women at the Newcastle Racecourse in Gosforth, to raise money and awareness for the cancer charity.
Since the very first event in 1994, Cancer research UK, have raised a staggering £50 million through the event and this year they were hoping to achieve £20 million by attracting over 325,000 runners to take part.
The girls are looking forward to next year's race and intend to enter an even bigger team to help raise even more money for the charity.
