Elddis shortlisted in a record five out of six categories in Go Caravan's 'Caravan of the Year Awards 2011'

The contenders for the prestigious 2011 Caravan of the Year awards, presented by Go Caravan and sponsored by Towergate Bakers caravan and park home insurance have just been announced, with Elddis touring caravans shortlisted in 5 out of 6 categories.

For these eagerly anticipated awards, the team at Go Caravan scrutinised every new caravan launched for the 2011 season, which began in September this year. The judges used a precise and detailed scoring system, testing the following:

Layout practicality
Styling
Kitchen practicality
Washroom
Sleeping arrangements and comfort
Storage
Build quality
Level of specification for price category
Towing specification
Value for money

Elddis has been shortlisted in the following categories:

Best Family Caravan under £13,000

Elddis Xplore 556

What the judges say: "3 Fixed bunks- and a brilliant price; much better than buying used!” This newcomer to the "brilliant Xplore range" scored "very high points.”

Best Couples' Caravan under £13,000

In this category only Elddis caravans were shortlisted - securing both Winner and Runner-Up titles.
