Elddis's new Xplore 546 wins Tourer of the Year

The all-new Xplore 546 from Elddis has been crowned Tourer of the Year, at The 2009 Caravan Industry Awards.

Fighting off stiff competition from established brands, the Xplore - launched only in February this year - scooped not only the top accolade of Tourer of the Year, but also Thetford Washroom of the Year for the Xplore 452 layout.

These awards, judged by major figures in the Caravan Industry, are recognition of Elddis's new entry-level tourer which has enjoyed meteoric success and has wowed customers and key industry figures.

The Xplore 546 was considered by these judges "to be the best overall in terms of design (interior and exterior) and value for money, taking into account the standards of equipment, fittings and furnishings and the overall presentation".

Since its launch at the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor show at Birmingham NEC in February, the Xplore range has been feted as an all-round success story - a quality, lightweight tourer with a generous equipment level that belies its competitive price tag.
