Xplore Launches its Way on to the Market

. The National Boat Caravan and Outdoor Show proved to be the perfect place to launch the new Xplore range of touring caravans. All five models were on show for the very first time and the reaction from both customers and media was very positive Which Caravan magazine (April Issue 2008) reported on the new range:

‘These tourers are well priced and light on weight, The Xplore range enjoys the same build quality as more upmarket caravans.’

In recent years Elddis has invested heavily into its production facilities and reviewed the testing of all its products to ensure the quality of the caravans and motorhomes they manufacture.

Alan Bateman, Design and Development Manager at Elddis explains the testing of our products:

‘The caravan construction of all 2008 model year Elddis vehicles has been comprehensively tested by an in dependent test house and results show that the vehicle construction exhibits a higher degree or rigidity than a typical commercial panel van. The chassis and axle assembly has been shown to withstand impact forces up to 5g acceleration without any major damage or deterioration in performance (provided MTPLM is not exceeded) The 2008 model’s major equipment has been vibration tested and functionally approved for the equivalent of 20,000 miles service, again testing was carried by an independent test house.’
