New Elddis Crusader Production To Top 30,000 Units

Production of the New Elddis Crusader Cyclone will indeed top 30,000 units as Elddis joins forces with an international giant.

Elddis Limited and Halsall International Ltd began working together several months ago with the aim of creating a toy caravan, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Teamsters, a range under the Halsall International Ltd name, contacted Elddis, as they wanted to model one of their toys on a popular life-sized replica caravan.

Their wish was granted and this month the scaled down vehicle was launched onto the UK toy market.

It is also ‘towed’ by a trendy die-cast metal 4x4 car, a popular acquiesce to any modern caravan, that features opening doors and boasts real attention to detail providing enthusiasts and collectors with authentic play value.

Spencer Jefferson, national account manager, David Halsall International Ltd, who manufactures the Teamsters range, said: “We contacted Elddis as we knew they were well respected in the industry for manufacturing quality vehicles; something we are passionate about. As a caravan enthusiast myself, I recognised the Crusader as one of the best.”

The full-sized 4-berth Elddis caravan at over 8m in length and standing 2.6m high dwarfs the replica model vehicle at 6.5cm in height.

Stuart Hicks, marketing manager at Elddis, said: “It is a huge compliment that Teamster decided to model one of their toys on an Elddis vehicle.”

He continued: “We try to push the envelope at Elddis through innovative design and manufacturing, and this toy is a fun way of exercising that principle. Elddis is one of our most popular ranges with a 42 year heritage and a great keepsake to have a vehicle captured in this way.”

The caravan, with car, is available from all good toy stores from December, priced at £4.99p.
