A chance meeting on a campsite near Marbella, led to Mr and Mrs Baldwin updating and upgrading to a brand new Elddis motorhome - a Pearman Briggs Magnum GT Anniversary edition - which they drove home last night!

The couple were staying on the Costas campsite, when their attention was drawn to the glimmering good looks of the Elddis Encore 254, which the Grey Gappers are on tour with.

Having heard of the Gappers' adventures and of Elddis's SoLiD Construction innovation, Mr and Mrs Baldwin asked to have a closer look. Karen and David welcomed The Baldwins on-board for a chat and a few drinks.

They told us: "The Baldwins are no strangers to caravanning and motorhoming, but they were extremely impressed with the Elddis build quality.

"Having spent over a year on the road - in all weathers and all terrains - we have more than put our Elddis through its paces.

"The Baldwins could see just how well-built and well equipped Elddis motorhomes are and thought that our model - the Encore 254 - was a brilliantly-put-together piece of kit."

On their return home, The Baldwins decided to upgrade from their old Autocruise Wentworth to a brand new Elddis motorhome and chose a Magnum GT Anniversary 196 - a special edition motorhome built uniquely for Pearman Briggs by Elddis.

The Baldwins are understandably thrilled with their new purchase, posing for a few pics before driving home the new addition to their family!

The Baldwins hope to drive out and meet The Gappers at some stage of their epic journey back to the UK – and back at Elddis HQ we can’t wait to hear how their get-together goes!
